Jan Bohata, has joined the Capital Markets Department at BNP Paribas Real Estate in Czech Republic. Jan took up the position of associate director and is a commercial real estate financing expert with experience gained in the banking sector.

In consideration of positive investor’s sentiment which should prevail for at least following 12 months, the strengthening and expansion of the team constitutes another stage as regards implementation of our growth strategy. Jan is an individual with extensive professional expertise, where his creative approach and the ability to work in the international environment will without doubt translate into flawless support for our clients

Jan Bohata has substantial real estate financing experience. Prior to joining BNP Paribas Real Estate Czech Republic, he held the position of a senior associate in the Commercial Real Estate Department at Unicredit Bank Czech, and before that he worked for Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka (CSOB), Volksbank Czech and Raiffeisenbank in Prague. Jan graduated from the Department of Banking and Insurance at Banking Academy in Prague.
His knowledge of real estate financing will enable us to further support our clients when securing debt and refinancing. At the same time, Jan will also be responsible for further development of the Capital Markets business line.

The domestic commercial property investment market closed last year with a record result in terms of transactions completed estimated at approx. 5.1 billion EUR, which represents YoY growth of 11%. The moving of completion of significant transactions to the beginning of this year did not have a negative impact on the result achieved. The last quarter proved to be particularly busy for investor, where transactions of the total value in excess of half of the volume reported in 2017 were finalized.

BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland with the largest lease transaction on Warsaw's warehouse market

One of the leading online e-commerce players, offering in excess of 250 000 products from more than a thousand different brands, will take up 32 500 sqm of space in the P3 Błonie logistics park near Warsaw. BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland advisors supported the company on an exclusivity basis in the search for a suitable location and throughout the lease process. The transaction brought the share of lease transactions finalized by the agency in the total number of transactions completed on Warsaw’s market to 52%, thus putting BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland in the position of regional leader. The total volume of space leased with the involvement of the Logistics and Industrial Department in Q3 only has increased to 120 000 sqm.
