BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland strengthens its valuation team


Krzysztof Skrodzki joined the valuation department at the Polish division of the international commercial property advisory firm. In his role as Senior Property Valuer, Krzysztof will be responsible for property valuations, business analyses and provision of property advisory services to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland clients and partners.

Krzysztof Skrodzki has been active on the commercial property market since 2012, while he has operated on the general property market since 2010. He has been responsible for retail, office and logistics and warehouse property valuations prepared for Polish and foreign finance institutions and developers. Prior to joining BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, he had worked for JLL, Getin Noble Bank and Idea Bank. Krzysztof is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics.

Considerable appetite for Polish properties


The domestic commercial property investment market closed last year with a record result in terms of transactions completed estimated at approx. 5.1 billion EUR, which represents YoY growth of 11%. The moving of completion of significant transactions to the beginning of this year did not have a negative impact on the result achieved. It will support retailers, developers, investors and managers. The scope of activities of the new department that focuses on strategic consultancy, will be led by Fabrice Paumelle.
A record-breaking year for warehouse and logistics space ahead of us


The data provided in the annual AAG Industrial & Logistics Market Review report confirms that the sector with its stock of more than 13.5 million sqm was the fastest growing commercial property sector in 2017. The year saw the total volume of space increase by 21% as compared to 2016. The schemes developed as build-to-suit projects continue to be the driving force here. At the same time, authors of the analysis highlight the decrease in the share of speculative projects.
